"Who ever came up with this idea that agitation was a form of peaceful protest? Why would you think I would even consider your desire or view from your yelling and anger? If you come at me with your self-spun anger and rage, it is my prayer I come at you Spirit Filled, with the Peace and Joy of the Lord, not stepping onto your snare but freeing you from yours."

Psalm 91 Decree!

(Psalm 91: 1-3)
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.

 .

I dwell in the secret place of the Most High so I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”  Surely He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover me with His feathers, and under His wings I shall take refuge; His truth shall be my shield and buckler.  I shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,  Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come near me. Only with my eyes shall I look, and see the reward of the wicked.
Because I have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, my habitation, No evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling.
He shall give His angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent I shall trample under foot.
Because I have set my love upon Him, therefore He will deliver me; He will set me on high, because I have known His name.  I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me; He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me and honor me. With long life He will satisfy me, and show me His salvation.

Your Secret Place?

Bishop D.L.Boer

If we desire to have God's best then we need to dwell in His Secret Place - that place nearest to God's heart, where His glory shines brightest.

Have you ever had your own little secret place; a place where you could go to get away from it all; a place where you could be alone with your thoughts? Little children often find such a place where they can feel secure. Sometimes it’s a tree house, hidden among the limbs and leaves, where you can pull up the rope or the ladder and nobody else can get in. When I was a kid, I use to use card tables, packing boxes, or square hay bales in the barn ( not know of the danger!) Some of you might have had your secret place in a closet, or just a spot in the woods (where I First heard God!) where you could be alone. We live in such a fast paced and demanding world, even more so now with Covid-19, that we all need a secret place now and then, where we can get alone with our thoughts; and alone with God.

The bible tells us that we all need that “secret place”. Jesus was teaching his disciples about prayer when he said in, Matthew 6:6, " But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you." This inner room represents our little secret place; a place where we can get alone with God in prayer.
That “Prayer Closet” can be anywhere. It can be a certain stump or log in the woods, or just a long walk in the open field. For a lot of people its behind the steering wheel of a car, or when you are lying awake in the early hours of the morning, perhaps kneeling beside your bed. Wherever it is, and however you do it, you must have a prayer closet, for there is where you learn to commune with God on a very personal level.
Psalms 91:1 tells us that there is great value in having that secret place with God, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

What is this secret place in God? It is in the very heart of God; in the center of his love, his mercy, his grace and His will. It is into this place that we are brought by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Blood of the Lamb. No one can enter there except through the blood of Jesus. No one can feel the perfect love of God; no one can comprehend the richness of his grace; and no one can know the very heart of God until we come to that secret place in Him.
This is the place where every one us can dwell if we are willing to pay the price to be there. No half-hearted or lukewarm Christian can dwell in God’s secret place – they’ll never find it while the world is still shining brightly in their eyes. No one who is not Born Again could ever hope to find God’s Secret Place because the power of sin has them blinded to it’s existence and they cannot find the way unless it revealed to them through the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation. It is not until the heart of a man is cleansed by the blood of Christ; and his understanding is given the light to see; and his will is surrendered to Christ; that he can begin to know the very heart of God.

I thank God for the delivering power of the El Shaddai. I thank God that we can be set free from the snare of the devil. We do not have to listen to his evil laughter, or hear the shrieks of pain and agony in the pits of hell – we are delivered from that “Noisome Pestilence” called eternal death.
In His sufficiency we can trust. The Truth of His Word shall never fail, and it is His Word and His power that keeps us bound to His Secret place.

A man or woman who is Born Again by the Blood of Jesus and the empower by the Holy Spirit need not fear death, in any form, which brings what other men call night, for us it is not darkness. Instead it is the stepping into the light of an eternal day in that Secret Place with God. Infilled and empowered by the Holy Ghost we may roll back the stone of our carnal tomb and step into the light of His Glory!

Such is not the case for the lost. For their faith is already dead, temptations overtake them daily and they fall as prey to the attacks of the devil and their end is eternal death for they have no protection outside of Jesus. Without His overshadowing blood there is no hope at all.

Psalms 91:7-8, "A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked."

God is able to keep and protect those that are His. If we dwell in the Secret Place with God then we can be assured that He will give us deliverance and victory when everything else and everyone else around is dying and facing the wrath of God, including the current virus.

In these last days this is a very comforting thought; to know that no matter what the world will face; no matter what disasters may come; our God is able to deliver us through it all.

When Israel was down in Egypt, slaves to Pharoah, God sent judgments against Egypt to express his power and his wrath at anyone who would try to destroy his chosen people. The flies, frogs, lice, water turning to blood and finally the plague of death swept through the land, but none of those things visited the Land of Goshen where God’s people dwelt.

Even when the sun was turned to darkness over all the land, there was still light in Goshen. We serve a Mighty God. There’s nothing too hard for Him to do. Don't start to limit Him now.
In these last days we are beginning to see the judgments of God that coming on the earth. God’s great wrath is about to be poured out on this sinful world and men who refuse to serve God will be cut down as wheat in the field.

But when all of those who are left behind to face the terrible judgments of God are dying by the thousands, and tens of thousands, and going into the very pits of hell; those who are born again will be enjoying the glory of Heaven in their Secret Place with God.
Psalms 91:9-10, "Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling."
Listen, sin hangs on to the best of saints,  temptations come to them, and the evil of diseases come upon them, not as chastisements from the Lord; for it rains on all, as well as good, by God’s permission.

But the evil of punishment never touches them.

For those who dwell in the Secret Place of God, the calamities and disasters that strike them are not taken as punishment for sin; but for proof that God will keep us through them all. The things that come against mankind to punish him, only has the effect of making a true Child of God a little stronger because we have learned to trust in God and lean upon him through all things.
We know that, somehow, all of this will work for our good. That’s God’s promise to those who dwell in His Secret Place.
Psalms 91:11, "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways."
Have you ever sensed the presence of an angel around you? Have you ever seen one? (I have only recently) Have you ever known someone who has seen an angel? There have many times when angels appeared to men this have been recorded in the Bible. Do you think that angels still appear to men? I know now I do.

Psalms 91:15-16,
"“He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him. “With a long life I will satisfy him and let him see My salvation.”

What a privilege we have in Jesus; that we can call upon him day or night! His ears are always open to the prayers of His people. If we make the call, the line is never busy; we don’t get a recorded message; we get to speak to El Shaddai and He always gives us the answer we need, when we need it.
God doesn’t ignore prayer. A lot of people don’t pray because they don’t think there’s anyone listening. Because the answer doesn’t come immediately, or because they don’t get the answer they want; they quit praying. It’s hard work sometimes, getting into that Secret Place in God. But keep knocking, keep seeking; keep asking –God hears your cry and He has promised to answer.

There is no better place to be than in the very Heart of God, dwelling in His awesome presence; guided by the Holy Spirit; feeling His anointing and walking in His will. Find that Secret Place in God and let God live in you.
In the words of Jesus himself, as recorded in Revelation 22:17, "...The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.
There’s always room for more in God’s Secret Place!

Peace,
Bishop Boer

Psalm 91
So Powerful for this time!

Picture
Bishop Bill Chapman

Bishop Boer asked me to write a paragraph out of Psalm 91. I love psalm 91. I think it is one of the most powerful chapters for this time. I would like to write a not on verses 15 and 16. In this time when fear is upon many lives, having adverse effect on them, people do not know what to do because of it. Verses 15 and 16 show us why we are  not to fear. When we call upon Him he WILL answer. God says He WILL deliver us. No matter what is going on He WILL deliver you and with long life He will satisfy me and show me His promise of salvation.
No virus, no doctor's report, no devil can change God's Word! He says with long life I will satisfy Him!

Psalm 91
Walking out this promise!

Picture
Bishop Sheila Gaspard
Central Region

My way of walking out this Promise in scripture is to understand the first few scriptures. To dwell there I must abide there. This is an ongoing movement of my determination to fix my love on Him. To remain stable and steadfast in my will to seek Him. It’s going to require full trust that The Lord will cover me and will deliver me from all that would want to harm me or steal from me. I have to die to myself and my desires. When there is no opinion left in me, I am free from fear because I have totally trusted in my Father. And then have I secured my dwelling place and my Father is going to protect me from any plague that would dare to come near me. Then He will give His angels charge over me to keep me safe. They fight the battle raging against me. Because I have made my life a dwelling place for my God! I am on going in setting my love for Him.

Psalm 91
Promises we can live with!

Picture
Bishop Phillis Skirvin

This scripture is to remind us of the faith that we cannot see, and the hope for the hopeless. When we as Christians know what we know, about our relationship with Christ, we can go forward in faith believing that our God will cover us, when our hearts are broken, or we are afraid, He tells us, "Do not fear, for I am with you, throughout this season of trials, I am  here.. With  faith we walk blindly, triumphantly, and we must hang on to that promise of our Father." He is my fortress and he is my God !"   This scripture reminds us of his love for those who follow and trust in Him.  We are to walk with confidence knowing our God Reigns in the midst of our fear !

 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JACOB AND ESAU
BY REV. JORGE CANEPA
  MinisterFGRMC
The Book of Genesis speaks of the relationship between Jacob and Esau, focusing on Esau’s loss of his birthright to Jacob and the conflict that had spawned between their descendant’s nations because of Jacob’s deception of their aged and blind father, Isaac, in order to receive Esau’s birthright/blessing from Isaac.
When Rebekah’s delivers, Esau is born first and is extremely hairy. Jacob, who is smooth skinned, is born immediately after, grasping the heel of hid brother. Accord with this explanation, Esau is the older brother, and Jacob the younger one. Is no discussion about it. (Genesis Chapters 25-50)
When the time came for Isaac to bestow his blessing on his sons, Jacob and his mother contrived to deceive Isaac into blessing Jacob in Esau’s place. When Esau found that his blessing had been given to Jacob, he threatened to kill his brother, and Jacob fled (Genesis 27:1-28:7).
Both Jacob and Esau were fathers of nations. God changed Jacob’s name to Israel (Genesis 32:28), and he become the father of the 12 tribes of Israel. Esau’s descendants where the Edomites (Genesis 36). Edom was a nation that plagued Israel in later years and was finally judged by God (Obadiah 1:1-21). In the New Testament, Esau’s choice to sell his birthright is used as an example of ungodliness- a “godless” person who will put physical desires over spiritual blessings (Hebrews 12:15-17). By his negative example, Esau teaches us to hold fast to what is truly important, even if means denying the appetites of the flesh. Both Old and New Testaments use the story of Jacob and Esau to illustrate God’s calling and election.
God chose the younger Jacob to carry on the Abrahamic Covenant, while Esau was providentially excluded from the Messianic line (Malachi 1:2-3; Romans 9:11-14). Few have ever heard about how Esau died. I think of Jacob as the man of the Spirit and Esau as a total man of the flesh.
Jewish tradition tells that when Jacob was brought to be buried in the cave, Esau prevented the burial, claiming he had the right to be buried in the cave; after some negotiations Naphtali was sent to Egypt to retrieve the document stating Esau sold his part in the cave of Jacob. As this was going on Hushim, the son of Dan who was hard of hearing, did not understand what was going on, and why his grandfather was not being buried, so he asked for an explanation; after being given one become angry and said: Is my grandfather to lie there in contempt until Naphtali returns from the land of Egypt? He then took a club and killed Esau, and Esau’s head rolled into the cave. This means that the head of Esau is also buried in the cave.
